No. when you build monteverdi2 you have OTB libs linked with it. No cli_*
or gui_* scripts are installed.

If you are using a standalone installer, all application otbapp_*.dylib are
bundled with osx. It is not that hard to run apps outside monteverdi2 but
you can try new mapla which can launch application without viewer

Basicaly, you have the application browser as in monteverdi2


If you want to launch otb application from command line there are several
options.

build from source,
use otb from macports or osgeo4mac.

Out of curiosity, what exactly do you want to achieve?
