I work on linux most of the time, but occasionally want to test an idea while I'm at home or during a trip, in which case I just have my MacBook Air. On linux, I use otbcli* commands most of the time (actually from within R), just use Monteverdi2 occasionally. I would like being able to do the same on the Mac provided this is not too hard. Being the system manager of my linux machine is already too much for me, cannot afford the time of a system administration of the Mac. But it seems the Mapla can be a workable solution and will try. Going into Macports et al. is really beyond what I want to do. Never heard of osgeo4mac,is it complicated?
