Hi Tomas, can you give more information about the sensor associated to your image?
Internally OTB is using OSSIM to retrieve metadata information and I suspect that the metadata is empty which explains why it does not produce any geom file (agree that we should change the behaviour of the application to warn the user about this): http://hg.orfeo-toolbox.org/OTB/file/tip/Modules/Adapters/OSSIMAdapters/src/otbImageKeywordlist.cxx#l508 What I don't understand also is why do you want to use the RefineSensorModel application which performs a least-square fit of the sensor model adjustable parameters according to tie points while your input image seems already geo-referenced.
