Hi,

New user in need of some instruction.
I have something that I am pretty certain is a ortho-ready product
(positions are nearly there, but small non-constant offset is always
present, which I mark to be terrain distortions not taken into account).
I am interested to do a orto-rectification process in Monteverdi to correct
these distortions, however, there are problems:
1) I have extracted terrain model from SRTM1 data for the given imagery
extent (i used only one tile of several, for my tests). This model is in
geotiff and is not being recognized by Monteverdi as usable for some reason
during ortho-rectification step (reproject option, geometry tab). Am i
doing something wrong? Is some other format required?
2) Is it even possible to orthorectify ortho-ready products in Monteverdi?
I successfully ran the procedure in qgis plugin for otb processes, using
the given DEM but noticed no improvement.

any advice is welcome

Best regards
