Hello all OTB people,

I know that OTB does not support RapidEye image orthorectification as per
documentation, however I attempted to orthorectify a level 1B RapidEye
image by tweaking the RPC.xml file (attached here) and structure it as if
it was an .RPB file with 102 lines (similar to the one input for DG
images), something that OTB can read when running. The result is
satisfactory. Can someone comment on whether this is logical or something
is missing (e.g. the sensor model is not included in the OTB installation
de facto and hence some parameters will be ignored or not set correctly?).
When in the OTB documentation is mentioned that only some sensors are
supported, does this has to do with reading the .RPC file only or it is
more complicated than I suspect?

Best,
Dimitris
