Hi,
I have a report full of the most meaningful local contrast enhancement
algorithm here at CNES, I think this is something worth adding to our
backlog. I can provide a list of possible algorithm and related papers.
Regards,
Julien

My idea was just applying a linear stretching using a moving window, but it
would be nice having other local enhancements. Is not there a more
user-oriented guide of image enhancements under ITK?
The convert application does not look local.
BTW, the CLAHE in ImageJ is very good

Hi Augustin,
The Convert application allow to rescale using histogral quantiles values,
there is also a Smoothing application.
Indeed it would be nice to have other methods available through cli.
Which algorithms are you thinking of?
I know that ITK got a long list of image enhancement algorithms:

Hi!
Is there an adaptive enhancement filter in OTB(cli)?
Thanks
