Hi Clovis,

What version have you installed ?

It seems that you are missing a launcher script for monteverdi. Do you have a launcher script ".bat" along the monteverdi executable ?

If you don't have a launcher script you can try adding this one :
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
:: Monteverdi launcher to set up proper environment
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::

:: Set locale numeric to C
@set LC_NUMERIC=C

:: Get the directory of the current script
@set CURRENT_SCRIPT_DIR=%~dp0

:: Set GDAL_DATA env. variable
@set GDAL_DATA=%CURRENT_SCRIPT_DIR%share\gdal

:: Performance issue: do not set ITK_AUTOLOAD_PATH to avoid loading of OTB-Applications.
@set OTB_APPLICATION_PATH=%CURRENT_SCRIPT_DIR%lib\otb\applications

:: Set current dir to HOME dir because Monteverdi generates temporary files and need write access
@cd %HOMEDRIVE%%HOMEPATH%

:: Start Monteverdi
@start "Monteverdi Viewer" /B "%CURRENT_SCRIPT_DIR%bin\monteverdi.exe" %*

The variable OTB_APPLICATION_PATH will tell monteverdi where the applications are. An other way is to add this environment variable directly in the dedicated Windows parameters panel.

Regards,
Guillaume

Bonjour

Cordialement

Clovis

Hi

I wanted to install monteverdi 3 on my working computer. Howether, after a good downloading when I open monteverdi.exe on the downloded register (after his unziping), the software windows open itself but I don't see otb's tool of teledection. So, when I want to load them (file/ load otb application), anything happen except the opening of a empty windows without any tool...

I don't want to use this tool on QGis, and I want to understand why I can't use them on monteverdi 3 (I have the same problem on monteverdi 2) while the .dll files are ok on the register I downloded.

Thanks for your answer

Regards

Clovis
