Procedure: - Click start menu - Default programs (Programmes par défaut) - Associate file type of protocol to a program (Associer un type de fichier ou un protocole à un programme) - Scroll down to find .bat file extension - Description should Command file (Fichier de commande) - Double-click on it - Default parameters (Paramètres par défaut) should be Unknown application (Application inconnue) - If not, double click on the .bat item - Remove notepad program from list.
Note: Sorry I can only check on French windows system so english translations may differ on a real English Windows system.
