Are there some applications you can launch from QGIS? Or do you have the same problem with all of them? I'm not sure but it could be related to the fact that there are no algorithm description files for 5.2 or 5.4: https://github.com/qgis/QGIS/tree/master/python/plugins/processing/algs/otb/description
