To complete Jordi's answer the application should also be able to handle image and vector data in different projections as vector data are reprojected internally in the application:

    When no samples are found, usually this is due to one of these
    issues :

    - the image and the reference data files do not have the same
    projection
    - the reference data has to be made of polygons (not points, not
    poly-lines)
    - the attribute of the vector data containing the class label
    (integer) has to have the same name as the one you specify with
    the -sample.vfn option in the application

    If you do not manage to solve your problem with these hints, you
    may want to make available a small data set showing the problem so
    we can investigate.
