I'm trying to segment this image (figure 1) using the watershed segmentation algorithm but I do not get what I need. The input image has been created by a cost function ( https://grass.osgeo.org/grass72/manuals/r.cost.html ) starting from the dark pixel in Figure 1. The delineation of the different watershed should be located on the higher value of the cost around each dark pixel. In other words I would like to obtain something similar to Figure 2. I tried to change the -filter.watershed.level and -filter.watershed.threshold, the polygons size/shape change but I do not get the delineation of each watershed.
