Hi,

The segmentation filter tries to identify homogenous regions. In otbcli_Segmentation , the image first goes into a gradient magnitude filter before watershed filter.

The watershed filter itself is documented here: https://itk.org/Doxygen48/html/classitk_1_1WatershedImageFilter.html. You should try to use it directly.
