Did you ever get this figured out? I am also interested in optical 
calibration of WV03 images. Also, the calibration factor and effective 
bandwidth are embedded into each of the .imd files that come with the 
imagery from Digital Globe. I don't know if these are ever updated in any 
way, but it seems like a good idea to pull them directly from the .IMD file 
for each image when it is imported. 

e.g. (Coastal band: absCalFactor = 6.679371e -02; effectiveBandwidth = 
4.050000e -02...etc.)
