To the List Serve:

I am a second year OT at the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
I had a lady come to me seeking help with a relative that has
Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. She ask me first if I thought that
OT could help, second how we could help. She also ask if there was
any technology that was out there that could help her to communicate
with the world around her. She has trouble speaking, eye movements
are week and limited, but she still has relatively well functioning
arms and hands. I can find no one here that is remotely familiar
with this disorder. Has anyone on the list serve treated someone
with this disease, if so what treatments did you use. Can anyone
help me with what technologies are available to help her communicate
and where could I find them. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
