In discussions about Head Control, the Hensinger Collar was recommended.
I'm looking for firm support for a 4 year old who is able to turn his head
left to right in supine, and briefly (1-15 seconds) upright in supported
sitting. I want him to use it for feeding, purposeful hands on activities.
(Touch adaptive switches), visual control and to possibly give support in the
car especially if in an accident.
Sammons is sending a new catalogue with the Headmaster Collar, but I
haven't found a company with the Hensinger Collar.
Where can I find the Hensinger, and are there other styles that I should
consider?
