Hi,
I actually receive outpatient OT at a local small-town hospital. Due to its small size, the outpatient OT's are normally the same as inpatient ones. My OT's job in the acute care setting is to provide ADL assistance to manty of the patients receiving any other type of rehab program (I assume this means TKR too) I really think this is helpful to get patients moving around and starting their day (though my OT is not crazy about the 6:45 AM start time....lol)
