Hello everyone, A quick question for anyone who works or has worked with total knee replacements in acute care.
1) what day post op do you go in to see pt's with tkr? 2) what are some typical tx's you have done? (adaptive equipment/tech, LE ADL's...) 3) are there OT's in some hospitals who don't see the TKR? I have a pathway in my hospital for TKR, I usually groan (mild though) when I get order for a TKR. In my limited experience there does not seem to be much need for OT with this diagnosis although there are exceptions.
