The definition of physical therapy was not amended. Last year the PTs introduced a bill that amended the scope language and created an independent PT board. The bill did not get out of committee. I remember having discussions with the OT president about proposed amendments to the PT bill, but I can't remember how far the discussions went because the chiros where already raising concerns about language in the bill that state that PTs can do: "manual therapy including soft tissue and joint mobilization and manipulation" so the bill stalled in committee.
