The International Forum on Pediatric Pain is holding its 4th biennial conference Sept. 19-22/2002 at White Point Lodge in Nova Scotia, Canada. The theme of the conference this year is "The context of pediatric pain: biology, family, society, culture". The website to find out more information and to register is www.pediatric-pain.ca/ifpp. I've been to the three previous conferences. IT's small - about 125-150 people representing about 12 countries. White Point is a beach resort on the Atlantic ocean with a fabulous beach, lodge, cottages and activities for children. There is an adjacent golf course. The speakers are international authorities in the area of infant, child and adolescent pain. If you have any interest in this area, this may be the conference for you.
