Hello:

I received the following message from the OTnow web site. I am NOT a
pediatric therapist and fell less than qualified to address this
person's question about what an OT might do.

Some, please send me a basic response that I can forward to this
consumer. Or perhaps, it will be better if I just direct the consumer
to someone's e-mail address.

Thanks for any help!

Ron

dc> WHY DID THE PEDIATRICIAN RECOMMEND AN OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST FOR MY
dc> 6 WEEK OLD GRANDDAUGHTER? HER SYMPTOMS ARE THAT SHE CAN'T SELF
dc> RELAX. SHE NEEDS TO BE HELD MOST OF THE TIME. IF SHE FALLS ASLEEP

dc> ANY DEFINITION OF AN OT. IT IS ALL VERY VAGUE.
