Ron: If we as O.T.'s want to keep our jobs then we need to perform our jobs! One of my many roles as an OT is to screen patients for "occupational" deficits and educate staff reguarding what may cause the deficit. If I received a referral for O.T. based on a physical limitation I would at least look into it and provide a summary of their current levels of function and say thanks for the referral PT may be more appropriate... I would like to keep my job.
