CR... I know that person you are talking about. I find him an excellent
prof and I enjoy his friendship. I am a PT prof, and through Ron's insight,
I have come to appreciate what an OT really is. I like the fact that there
has been OT discussion in our class, but, could be more. I find that some
of the OT students don't really know what OT is themselves at 4th
semester....I think Ron has helped to change that. Paradigm shifts do not
occur overnight, but, I hope his students carry out his message to your
profession.

Subject: Pt needs help

OKay so fortunatly have met a very great instructor that helped me to
understand what OT is truely about. Although I do not understand it
fully, I do know enough that I know that OT's are not about hands, UE or
other stereotypical ideas that the average unknowledgable PT has. The
problem is now it makes me angry when PT's make comments that show their
ignorance. How do I give them information to help them understand what
OT's really do, without causing a fight and being professional?
