Thank you Jody! I was trying so hard to remember this quote, as I feel that it very directly speaks to Ron's misconception about us medical model OTs being stuck in an "UE PT role" OTs do spend more time on the uppers than the lowers, but primarily because we use our hands to engage in pretty much ALL of our occupational tasks. You make some excellent points in your post, and seem to understand what it means to be an effective OT, and not merely an "UE PT"
