I have a friend in the CDC who posed a very interesting question to me. What do OT's percieve their role to be in planning for and during a disaster? Do we disseminate information? Are we first responders? Do we help out in shelters? Ensure our clients and families have a place to go? Are given the correct information? What do you think? I would love to give her some more information as they are developing training programs.
