cos children are more likely to come under the area of behavioural disabilities? also, psychosocial stuff, is about triggering thoughts and enabling the person to solve their own issues. maybe easier for adults to do that? lot more history too in their lives

Yes, I do not understand why there is a difference. I work with SCI clients and I also have other therapist say that I have to use more of my psychosocial skills with SCI clients, but this just is not true. The psychosocial issues may be different, but not more or less!
