Is it a padded strap buckled around the person's waist, and either used as a handle, or with integral loops to be used as handles?
If not this (I know it as a handling belt) then what, please? If it is this, I have problems where the belt is buckled too loosely and the person ends up being dragged along by pressure in the axillae - or the person/people helping actually take the full weight when the person walking lifts both feet off the ground. I agree that it can be a most useful aid for both handler and patient though.
