For all US OTs.  A majority in the House are now supporting H.R. 1125 which
is entitled the Medicare Access to Rehabilitation Act.  This bill would
repeal the $1500 therapy cap on Medicare Part B services.  Whether you work
in a setting which does Medicare Part B billing or not this bill impacts the
profession.  The caps when last enforced, limited jobs and restructured the
supply and demand curve for all of the rehabilitation industry.  There is a
like bill in the Senate (S.569).  This is not the time to sit back and
congratulate ourselves.  If you've written or phoned your congressperson do
so again.  If you haven't, shame on you, but there is still time to redeem
yourself.  Contacting your Reps and Senators can be as simple as going to
the below sites:
