Hi:
My private practice group was denied all "application of _____(splint)"
codes we used in September (CPT 29_ _ _ series). Neither have I heard of any
exclusion of splinting services yet. I am wondering if this a carrier/
intermediary discretion issue or, a case of wrong coding. Jody what setting are
you in and, what codes are you using to code for splints?
