Have you used the COPM or any of the MOHO interviews to determine what the client feels is meaningful, what s/he wants to do, or what s/he needs to do? These instruments can be used with the client and primary caregiver/family member if the client seems to have difficulty participating in the interview process. These should then guide you to occupations that the client will be willing to participate in, because they are occupations meaningful to her/him. You've said s/he won't participate in activities that aren't meaningful to her/him, so you need to go back to the source to determine other interests.
