Hi Heather!

Have you looked at the COPM? It is a client directed assessment that lets
the client decide where the issues are and how important they are for the
client's life.

Hope this helps!

Mary

Hello everyone!

I am a student in Ontario and I am working on a dilemma question for an
assignment. I am researching the different assessments that are out
there to assess quality of life and determining which one(s) are most
relevant and best to use in the palliative care setting. I am writing
to you to ask if anyone has experience working in palliative care and
what assessments you have used and whether or not you found them
effective at targeting the clients' actual quality of life in all
domains. There are only a couple that address spirituality and
emotion, which are key components of the person. Most of the
assessments focus on physical symptoms with less regard on the
psychological aspects of the person's life. If anyone has any thoughts
or assistance for me, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,
Heather Bast
