Hi All: I am wondering if anyone can give me any resources (websites, references etc.) which provide evidence in support of Therapeutic Pool Activities and / or Swimming. At the facility where I work they are going through an architectural re-development of the entire facility. In the new plans they are planning to eliminate the swimming pool. The OTs and Recreationists are trying to advocate for a swimming pool in the new plans. But we are unable to find any substantial research evidence in support of therapeutic activities which may be conducted in the pool with a special focus on clients with major mental illness.
