SLP's use ABCD to make recommendations. All these are used to determine best ability to function and to plan best discharge environment. Rehab "drives" the testing and information gathering process and presents it to Nursing and Social Services, as well as patient and families. AOTA has Claudia Allen's book. Not sure where to get the ABCD. I'm sure it can be found through ASHA.
