Hi Jimmie! Although I haven't worked in hospice, my class went to see a hospice site as part of our program. They use a team approach to treat patients and have a lot of alternative medicine involved. We went to their in-patient site and they had a holistic healer, OT, art therapy, nursing, doctors, pastoral care and several others that I can't remember. It was a very intriguing area of care but I'm not sure I could expend all that emotional energy and still have enough left for my family!
