Forget the pouch Ron. Most of us don't use it. Some psych patients are
distracted by the hanging laces. Yes the setup takes time from written
instructions. It is so much easier working from a sample. I had a dreadful
time, I remember. Initially I was working with the smaller version which
made it even worse. I hope you checked out the websites for theory and
interpretation help. There are new books in the works and the 'official' web
site is nearly ready. Delaune Pollard's web site from Australia is a great
resource. Don't get discouraged. Try it out until you are comfortable. Do
you have a private email? I can send you some attachments.

Subject: Re[2]: [OTlist] What to do?

Hello Joan:

I received my LACLS (Large Allen Cog. Level Screen). It took about 1
hour to figure out the lacing! I guess that puts me on the lower end of
the cognitive scale <grin>.

In all seriousness, the directions indicate that a leather 'pouch',
which is supplied, should be stitched onto the large leather rectangle.
What is the purpose of this 'pouch' and how the heck does it fit??

Thanks,

Ron
