I really want to do a case study for next year's AOTA conference on a
person with LE lymphedema. Unfortunately, I can not get organized enough

CW> Jimmie,

CW> Yes, we need to change the practice AND the perception.

CW> Perhaps a list member would write an article for Advance for OT or OT
CW> Practice about an occupational therapist working with patients with
CW> lower extremity problems?

CW> Hey Chuck,Again we can look at the erroneous information presented on a
CW> daily basis as a symptom if not a root cause. The July 4th edition of
CW> Advance for PTs has a letter to the editor which in one part states,
CW> "Naturally , the OT did the upper extremities," when describing a
CW> situation where a friend of a PT experienced therapy services in a
CW> hospital setting.
