One of my employers has cut back to a skeleton crew. He wants to continue
doing work conditioning and work hardening, but there is only one OT on
staff (me) and no PTs. I have another job in the afternoons, and can't
stay with WC/WH patients for an entire shift. Does anyone know the
legalities of who can supervise these patients in the absence of a therapist
or doctor? They want to leave a tech (someone with only on the job training
and NO rehab training) but that doesn't sound legal to me and I am hesitant
to sign anything. There aren't any WC/WH patients right now, but they want
to start one soon.
Thanks
Pat
