How about something relating to the use of wound care in occupational
therapy? We are getting many challanges from payers and other providers
that wound care is not/should not be in the OT scope of practice.

Hello all. I am an MSOT student and I must complete an 120 hour
researcher practicum. Here are the specifications:
Work with an instructor-approved researcher to establish learning
outcomes related to conducting and disseminating scholarly work of the
profession, with an emphasis on outcomes research, including examining,
developing, refining, and evaluating the profession's body of knowledge,
theoretical base, and philosophical foundations. The learning outcomes
can include process, product(s), or a combination of process and
products.
I am having difficulty coming up with a place to start. For instance,
should I pick a topic that needs to be researched in OT or should I try
to contact an OT researcher? If so, what topic would I pick and how
would I go about finding a researcher? Or, how would I find some good
topics to pick?
ANY help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.
