Just  wanted  to  let  you know that both my proposals got turned down -
very low scores!!!

It's  my  fault  for  not  putting any effort into them!! I was a little
disappointed  because  the  reviewer stated that I had no references and
"while  attendees  may  value  [my]  personal  wisdom,  [I] also need to
provide some "evidence" for [my] beliefs!"

I  struggle  a  little  with this because sometimes our profession needs
just  some opinion that's not necessarily based on what someone else has
said.  It's  not  like  I  was  doing  a  research paper on some sort of
treatment.  Both  the  papers  were  'concept'  papers, sort of original
thought.

Isn't there room for that in AOTA's repertoire???

On  a completely different note, do you know anyone at AOTA that I could
talk  to  about  AOTA  possibly  advertising  on  my  web  site? Boston
University just signed up to advertise and I think it's a neat idea.
