Yesterday,  while  working  with  a  client, another lady with MS talked
about  her  need  for therapy. When asked about what her goals might be,
she  said  that  she  could  only  stand for a few seconds, that she was
having  some  difficulty with posture and that she really needed some OT
for  her  hands  and arms.

Obviously,  this woman thought I was a PT, but that's not the point. The
point  is  that  this  lady's prior experience with OT left her with the
assumption that OT only does UE stuff.

There is SUCH inconsistency between our language and our practice - why?
