Yesterday, while working with a client, another lady with MS talked about her need for therapy. When asked about what her goals might be, she said that she could only stand for a few seconds, that she was having some difficulty with posture and that she really needed some OT for her hands and arms.
Obviously, this woman thought I was a PT, but that's not the point. The point is that this lady's prior experience with OT left her with the assumption that OT only does UE stuff.
