Hello Ron et al.

I recently had a friend who is a PT out west, and then a PT just
yesterday here in my state, explain the concept of "ON-site" out patient
physical therapy. It allows a PT to go to any setting (home, nursing
home and even the garden, golf course, etc...) to provide therapy that
results in functional outcomes in the particular environment. And, they
can bill for Medicare Part B.

Without all the argument of which profession should be doing this, do
OTs have the same opportunity to provide "on-site" out-patient care abd
bill for Part B?

I suppose the main catch is that PTs can bill for therapeutic exercise,
balance training, neuromuscular re-ed, etc...all the while having the
impairments and functions addressed in real environments.

Ron, in my case life happened although I've been writing responses to
your
last post in my head. I'll go back to the thread now.
