In Illinois, OT can stand alone as long as either Skilled Nursing, PT, or SLP made at least one skilled visit (performing the case Start of Care and performing skilled intervention during the visit is sufficient). After that, OT can stand alone as case manager, supervise a home health aide or OTA, order MSW services, and complete the recertification or the agency discharge, etc. Susan
