I know I keep asking the same question, but: Where's the
drain? With "claw feet" I simply cannot imagine there not
being an open drain under that tub? - or, at least a drain
that could easily be opened?

(Or, Please correct my eurocentric idea of what bathrooms
look like:)

Now - if he's not going _down_ in the bath tub anyways, but
just sitting on a high bench in it... Hmm... Would it
really matter a lot if he just sat sidewards on it - his
legs still outside? He could still shower legs if there's a
floor drain, I reckon. So, he'd really just need an "across
tub board" - but wide enough for sideways sitting. And, of
course a long enough shower hose (I least I finally learned
that _that_ is not standard equipment in any US bathroom:)

Now wait - 39" - that's one meter - higher than my kitchen
table!! How on earth does _anyone_ enter a bathtub like
that? Step-ladder??

susanne, denmark
 - curious to learn more bathroom geography...
