Hi Ron For sure you may already be doing this. I came to the conclusion some time ago that the OT acronym does not serve us well (in labour language it means overtime). The only time I use OT is with other OTs or in settings where other people use it with understanding. The rest of the time I say occupational therapy and that I am an occupational therapist. It certainly does not take much longer to say - a bit longer to write. A word I find useful is 'practical'. I provide practical help to sort out the things people need and/or want to do in everyday life and assist in finding ways to accomplish them. Joan
