Re all the letters etc. My name tag at work reads MS OTR/L BCN
 
It is amazing how many times people actually ask (patients, family members, and 
other health care professionals) what these all mean. It provides and exciting 
opportunity to educate people a little about our profession and to instill 
confidence in the fact that what we are doing and the occupational approach we 
are taking has some "legitimacy" and recognition. I always take the opportunity 
when asked to explain more about the profession. 
I do support NBCOT and I worked hard in Australia to get state licensure in the 
state I lived in. So these letter have significant meaning in terms of both the 
profession and my personal professional career.
