Took the following from AOTA's Legislative Action page. It's from the AOTA president:
“As a part of the Centennial Vision, we are pushing forward to strengthen occupational therapy’s role in enhancing the well-being and functional status of older adults so they are more likely to remain safely in their homes " This is a great concept and goal. BUT, how is OT going to meet this goal when it seems that the majority of home health therapists work above the waist? Aren't we once again SAYING one thing but doing something different?
