Went to a mandatory "therapy" staff meeting at the home company I work for.

Obviously, not all the therapy staff were there, but the number of PT to OT
is crazy. Today, there were 9 PT/PTA and 1 OT. Overall, I think there is
something like 15 PT/PTA and 4 OT/OTA staff members.

Why in world is there almost 4 times as many PT as OT members?

Why is OT so under utilized and recognized in home health. Heck, we have
just about as many aides as we do OT.

Looks like WE have a lot of work ahead of us if we are going to meet the
Centennial vision statement on being widely recognized.
