Hi,

Got some time to put in some hours over the last
few weeks. The majority of a minimal message
store framework seems complete. The notable
exception is the IMessage interface. The goal
is to try to reach a proof-of-concept
alpha-state in the next few weeks. If the
current pace continues, that goal should be
met.

I would like input on the current source so far
from someone who has developed a message store
before or understands extended MAPI otherwise.
Oh maybe someone who is just really good at
debugging stuff.

There is a crasher bug that has stalled progress
for the last few days and I can use help finding
its cause.

As an incentive ( token of my gratitude ) I would
like to offer the person who finds / suggests a
valid fix for this bug $30 Amazon gift-certificate
plus $5 towards shipping if international.

Outlook tries to dereference a NULL pointer right
after it calls our IMsgStore::GetReceiveFolder()
method. I am not sure that the crash and that
method are related though.

The source code is in CVS and I placed a
snapshot at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=66565&package_id=64526&release_id=283392
This ZIP contents the current SapiMapi binary
( http://sapimapi.sourceforge.net/ ) and our
message store plus intermediate files and
binaries. Install instructions can be found in
the INSTALL.txt file and various miscellaneous
notes can be found in Journal.txt in the Otlkcon
folder. By calling the Dump() function on
any IProp inherited class whilst SapiMapi is
running causes the entire contents of that
property to be exported and displayed in
the testing utility ( eg.
http://sapimapi.sourceforge.net/screen4.png
) and
http://sapimapi.sourceforge.net/screen5.png
The entire thing is alpha still though.

I would also like feedback on how well or
poorly the INSTALL.txt guided you through
the installation.

Please do not hesitate asking me any
questions.
