Prezado Jorge,
efeito terapêutico pois: 1. haviam outra drogas associadas a Luffa
operculata 2. não houve um grupo controle para comparação.
De qualquer forma foi bastante interessante ler
os resumos destes artigos
Um abraço

GERMANY Idioma: Ger Resumo: In a controlled randomized double-blind
trial carried out by 47 physicians in private practice with totally 152
patients with sinusitis the therapeutic success of the following homeopathic
drug preparations was investigated: Group A: combination of luffa operculata
D4, kalium bicromicum D4 and cinnabaris D3. Group B: combination of kalium
bicromicum D4 and cinnabaris D3. Group C: luffa operculata D4. Group D:
placebo. Criteria for the therapeutic result were headache, blocked nasal
breathing, trigeminal tenderness, reddening and swelling of nasal mucosa
and postnasal secretion. There was no remarkable difference in the therapeutic
success among the investigated homeopathic drug combinations nor between
the active drugs and placebo. Averaged over all four groups 81% of the
patients with acute sinusitis and 67% of the patients with chronic sinusitis
recovered. In the literature comparable therapeutic results are reported
for antibiotic therapy, decongestant nose drops and for the drainage of

Mannhein, Germany compared the efficacy and tolerance of a homoeopathic
nasal spray for hay fever (seasonal allergic rhinitis) with conventional
intranasal cromolyn sodium therapy.
Methods:
146 patients with hay fever symptoms were recruited into the randomised,
double-blind trial of 42 days. The homoeopathic remedy (Luffa comp. Heel
trade mark Nasal Spray), 0.14 ml per application, 4 times per day consisted
of a fixed combination comprised of Luffa operculata, Galphimia
glauca, histamine and sulfur. Quality of life, as measured using the
Rhinoconjunctivitis quality of Life Questionnaire (RQLQ) was the principal
outcome measure. The trial medication tolerance was measured using global
assessment, rhinoscopy, recording of adverse events and the use of vital
and laboratory parameters.
Results:
The treatment showed quick and lasting effects. This effect was
independent from the medication applied and produced an almost complete
remission of hay fever symptoms. RQLQ global scores changed significantly
during the course of the treatment, demonstrating therapeutic equivalence
between the 2 forms of treatment. There were no adverse systemic effects,
although local adverse events appeared in 3 patients.
Conclusions:
The homoeopathic nasal spray is as efficient and well tolerated as conventional
therapy with cromolyn sodium for the treatment of hay fever.
