I think you need to set the CustomerID link in the customer detail box,
because if I understood it correctly, you don't use the otrs customer backend
modules.
Try the following in you Kernel/Config.pm:
$Self->{CustomerDBLink} = 'http://yourhost/customer.php?CID=$Data{"CustomerID"}';
