Hello!

I have two questions. THe first one concerns the way OTRS deals
with customer data.

I wouldn't like to create a username and password for every
customer because it would be impractical for me to educate
them on how to use otrs.
So, how would it be possible to enter customers in the
database without creating login information for each?
The username and password fields on the customer user creation
screen are mandatory and I have to fill them in.

Question no.2 concerns the images otrs displays (or not in my case)
in the browser.
The only problem is I can’t see any images in the browser when I
use otrs. I checked the properties of the images and found that they
reside in the /var/lib/otrs/httpd/htdocs/images/Standard directory.

So, I tried setting the permissions of the files in Standard to a+rwx
but I still can’t see any images when I use otrs.

What could be the problem?

I am using debian with a 2.2.20 kernel.
Apache/1.3.33
MySQL

 Thanks,

Tom.
